Hiii. I'm Alexa. I'm 14. I pretty much only have an account here so I can store photos if my friends want to see the ones I don't post on MySpace or Tumblr since Flickr or Photobucket didn't work out for me. I don't know how often I'll be on but I'll try to get on as much as possible.

I almost always have a camera in my hand and am taking pictures. I take more pictures of myself and other people than anything else but I'm trying to break that habit. Once I learn more about photographing other things then maybe I'll become more into photography and learn to use my dad's camera in ways other than taking pictures of people.

I appreciate criticism of any kind. I'd like to know what looks good and what doesn't. Thanks. (:

I'd advise getting a tripod and using the self-timer so you could do proper poses and even use backgrounds.

At the moment, all your pictures of yourself look exactly the same.

i have a tripod i just don't know where it is.
i'll have to find it.
i know, my picture's aren't that great.
i pretty much only have this DeviantART for my friends to see my pictures since i don't like uploading them all to MySpace.

Well, until you find the tripod, I think one good idea would be to pick your favourite out of a bunch of pictures and only upload it. Maybe put a couple others into scraps.
You'd still be getting your photos up and it would stop your gallery having so many similar pictures at least.

You're very pretty and expressive and seem to have had a good eye for photos. I think you could do some great things.
